The interest sprouted from his disappointment with a recent purchase, and evolved into one of the leading manufacturers of audio equipment. Bose founded the Bose Corporation in 1964 with a mission to Better Sound Through Research. Today, Bose audio equipment can be found everywhere from Broadway theaters to military bases. It can be found in the Sistine Chapel, Olympic stadiums and even on the Space Shuttle. Renowned for its commitment to great sound quality, Bose continues to set a high standard for audio equipment.
