Pros	Solid and capable for basic computing. Good OEM bundled software. Long lasting battery between charges.
Cons	AC adapter failed. Touchpad too sensitive. Runs better under Linux than OEM Windows XP Home.
Bottom Line	If you want a portable, lightweight machine for basic computing, you'd be hard-pressed to beat the 1005HAP. It has a long bettery life and solid design.

Less netbook and more "really anemic laptop."

Pros	8+ Hours Battery, Looks good, decent keyboard, decent screen, 3 USB ports
Cons	Windows 7 and XP are the wrong tools for the job.
Bottom Line	Decent hardware is let down by operating systems that just don't belong on a Netbook.

Pros	Lightweight, long battery life, user-friendly keyboard
Cons	Touchpad and keyboard quickly inoperable, unhelpful "help" feature on website and customer service
Bottom Line	Assuming the touchpad/keyboard defect we experienced initially was unusual, I would recommend this as a lightweight, functional, attractive netbook.

Cons	a fingerprint magnet, bad graphics, loud fan.
Bottom Line	I recommend this to people who need something lightweight to get things done on the go, but also something that has style, which both the netbook has.
