Pros Script. Direction. Cast. Consistency.
Cons Nothing, really.
Bottom Line is John Malkovich.
 
Pros A few small sequences in this movie make up for its overall mediocrity.
Cons Too many dull moments without enough payoff.
Bottom Line If you don't expect a lot, you won't be disappointed. But there are a few comedic gems that make up for the overall mediocrity and confusion.

Bottom Line "Being John Malkovich" is a cult favorite for a reason. You must watch this film.

Pros A bizarre, funny, and intriguing film. Good comedic performances.
Cons Inherent nihilism might put off some viewers (not myself, though). Somewhat confusing.
Bottom Line Being John Malkovich a quirky, funny film that deserves all of its positive buzz. Well-worth seeing.
