Cons	the story is buried in what we bring to the story
Bottom Line	see this for an example of how a great story is told cinematically by a master filmmaker

Pros	Good actor for Dersu
Cons	Long, gets boring and melodramatic in the last half an hour
Bottom Line	Over-rated by Kurosawa fanatics, but still a decent film to watch when you have nothing better to do.
