Pros Everything about the movie is great!
Cons Nothing wrong with film at all.
Bottom Line A great film is there ever was sone. If you haven't seen this movie.... DO IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros Great acting!
Cons Film copy is a bit tattered through age.
Bottom Line A classic every moviegoer should see at least once.
 
Pros Kazan's Direction, Screenplay, Cinematography, Editing, Locations, Score, & Cast.
Cons None.
Bottom Line On the Waterfront is a Powerful Masterpiece from Elia Kazan Featuring Great Performances from Marlon Brando, Eva Marie Saint, & Karl Malden.
 
Pros Brando, storyline, visual, original, powerful, tear-jerking
Cons I didn't watch it sooner!
Bottom Line This movie is ahead of it's time, and has a powerful story to tell in a way you have never seen before. You will adore this classic. Be a contender!

Pros Great perfs from the Actors Studio alum with equally perfect direction from Kazan
Cons sometimes... a little staged to showcase the acting
