Pros James Stewart, John Dall, Farley Granger, illusion of one continuous shot
Cons lack of supporting cast
Bottom Line To this day Rope remains one of director Alfred Hitchcocks most enduring and innovative motion picture dramas

Pros Calmly suspenseful, James Stewart is impressive yet again, Dall is a monster
Cons Some small talk, the setting can become tiresome, fairly predictable
Bottom Line Rope is both ambitious and successful as far as I can tell. Who will be the next Hitchcock? Only time will tell...
