Technical Features
Most PDAs have touch screens that require a stylus to enter data. You can also find devices with a Jog Dial, that allows you to scroll through pages and make selection quickly. Still other PDAs have full keyboards.
Input Method
Touch Screen
Your PDA synchronizes with your computer by using a connector. It is important that the connector type of your PDA fits that of the computer you intend to use it with.
Expansion slots are built-in areas for future expansion. Some PDAs are made without certain features, but have built-in slots in case you want to add those features later. If the PDA you want to purchase does not have a certain feature that you are looking for, it may be expandable to include it in one of these slots.

| Pros |
Good flexibility in ebook formats, including ones from libraries. |
| Cons |
Heavy, blurry text, and way too expensive. |
| Bottom Line |
There are other readers out there with a better screen quality than the Sony PRS-600, and the touch screen isn't anything overly special to make the price worth it. |
by ivplay on Jan 24, 2011
| Pros |
Format friendly, expandable memory, and good size and weight |
| Cons |
Many complain of the glare and recommend trading up to the 650 |
| Bottom Line |
If you find one cheap/free, they work great. Otherwise, consider buying up to the 650 which fixed the glare issue. |

| Pros |
Multiple formats, text sizing, good size, $199 and sinking, decent screen. |
| Cons |
Charging issues, awkward interfaces, insufficient documentation, sluggish. |
| Bottom Line |
Saves carry on space and book money in long run, but not without a myriad of flaws. Get it now and use it until better products have dropped in price. |
