Pros It was black and white, more eeerie. More real, natural.
Cons Harboring on realism if we become more out of control
Bottom Line A thinker movie with bitter consequences when you sink your teeth into it . . .

Pros Along the lines of "Roller Ball" with its interesting, but depressing feel.
Cons Recycling gone WRONG.
Bottom Line It's a classic with one of the most quoted movie lines ever.

Pros Another solid Heston performance; Richard Fleischer's direction; Robinson's last role; timely message
Cons Will undoubtedly seem dated to some
Bottom Line Though admittedly dated in some aspects, SOYLENT GREEN remains timely (and portentous) in many others
