Corded phones are standard phones with a cord connecting the headset to the base. Cordless phones require no wire from the headset and allow for greater mobility within the range of the phone. Cordless extension phones are add-ons that work through the same phone line as a pre-exisiting phone and base.
This is the frequency that the cordless handset will work on. 900MHz are generally being replaced by 2.4MHz phones, as they are not as powerful and experience interference more easily than the 2.4MHz phones. There are some phones that continue to combine the two technologies. Generally, however, the higher the Hz, the farther and more clearly a phone signal will reach from its base.
Some phones can handle more than one phone line. This is important if you want to use one phone but have more than one phone line.
